Hey all.. back from germany again, got home to a bunch of goodies waiting to be installed. Had a very productive day, dropped all the old front suspension off, including the K-member.. dropped the old exhaust manifolds, and put on the CC plates and put together the Coilovers.

Just waiting for the new gaskets to arrive to put on the the Longtubes

Also tore off the supercharger and all inlet piping.. sending the pipes in to get them Jet-Hot coated for some bling bling, and sending the blower to vortech to get rebuilt and upgraded to a T-trim, in preparation for the new motor rebuild :D

Oh yeah and I've spend plenty of time oogling my roomate's new yellow Cobra :hail2:

Just figgured I'd say whatsup.. cant wait to get together with some of you guys again soon!

thats an mm k-member and what kind of coilovers?

let us know how the install/quality is. im looking to do that next to my car and maybe hit the track this summer. especially after i just lightened up my frontend and gained an inch in height :(

Thanks for the replies...

The K-member and A-arms are PA racing.. I'll report back on the fit, everything I've heard says its good stuff. The coilovers are MM. My wheels are just plain jane Cobras, yeah the backs are 10.5". The yellow one has 9" with 1" spacers out back.

Looks good Brian. You picked the easiest time to add headers (when the K member is out).

Yeah, it kinda all added up.. wanted to do K-mem, but figgured I'd wait for headers.. then had to do A-arms, coilovers, Tie rod ends, end links, CC plates, etc.. just figgured I'd do it all while the blower was off for a couple weeks.

Plus it's rainy outside and the Cobra melts in the rain :D

You'll like the fit of the PA k member. We try to stick with those if it is our choice. We've tried about every one out there and so far the PA has fit the best.

Sweet...

Man, just got started on the longtube install today....... PAIN IN THE ASS!

Got pass side hung so far, the thing fits in there so tight, it tries to tweak the bolts and cross thread everything. Had to run a tap through one of them to get it straightened back out, luckily that worked. Just need to tighten that side down and then start on the drivers side. Spent a good deal of time getting a fitting welded on for my EGT gauge.

Taking a rest for tonight, will resume tomorrow. :bang:

Yeah.. I used to have a black V-6. Don't remember talking smack though.. the gate guards DO usually oogle at my car though :D

Definitely let everyone know how that install goes. I already have the longtubes, but have to do my k-member, a-arms, front coil-overs, cc plates, upper/lower control arms, rear coil-overs, sub-frames, driveshaft loop and shocks/struts. The biggest pain will be the upper/lower torque boxes... I will probably wait until I gut the rear end this spring. Anyway, good luck!
