For that car with a carb, definitely get this intake. It's much better than the non air gap that was in the kit.

Honestly, though if it were mine I'd stroke it or windsor swap it. I have a hard time enjoying an NA 302 these days... just my .02

so going through and cleaning up the junkyard brake parts I discovered some damage.

1. rear caliper bracket has what seems to be a fused caliper pin, now complete with a busted ass bolt in it
2. calipers all have damaged seals and need some rebuilding some have scored/pitted pistons

So after looking at options, rebuilding all the calipers ( couldn't do just one or two, that is lame ) that lead me to just replacing all the calipers and I ended up doing this instead.

POWER STOP KCOE1302

$420 bucks shipped to me, including the $80 core. So I would guess $375 bucks after returning cores for all new junk ( reman'd ) to go with the suspension stuff.

So the cleaning/planning continues.

Good move on the powerstop calipers. My tears are their Red PC'ed Cobra versions. But some JY parts aren't worth using.

I think it was the smartest move cost wise. I was at $380 for just 4 reman'd calipers, so this was a no brainer. I mean this is the complete kit so yeah, now the question is do i paint the calipers or just leave them as is. I think I wil spray bomb the brackets at least.

Is this the same kit? If so seems like a good price

I'd def paint them at least for protection. Up to you if that's a nuetral color like aluminum/black or some contrasting color.

Yup thats the kit, the shipping kinda sucked @ 57 bucks but I was still a head, at least I told myself that I was.

How about black for the brackets and then aluminum for the calipers, not looking for flashy but since spending the $$ I want it to look decent and stay looking decent.

That's what I did for my 2003 GT back when I owned it. Black abutments, and painted the calipers aluminum...rears too.
