Engine Lets see your non welded breather hose fittings

Anyone have a method of attaching breather hoses to a valve cover without welding? My covers are chromed and dont want to run that and need to attach some type of fitting to them in order to hook up a breather tank.

you have room under them to do a bulk head fitting? something like whats on a fuel cell?

was thinking that or to go alot cheaper

And clamp on some 1/2" fuel hose. Trying to keeping it hidden. Putting the breather tank under the fenderwell also.

I do an fittings trimmed down with a an nut and o ring....no leaks. If your doing push on hose you could use a npt pipe nipple and tap the valve cover depending how thick your alum cover is....

thanks Rick. Factory covers should be thick enough, so i think ill try drilling and tapping to a 1/2" npt and use a brass threaded barb
