It has a lot to do with the diameter of the turn in question. I would like to be able to pull a g on an on/off ramp.

Not at all, my car has pulled well over a lateral G on the road course, I was just making mention to a Linear G (straight line acceleration) I wish the battery wasn't disconnected to show just how well it performed after being lowered with full suspension and boost

@84Ttop. Sounds like you need to get back out there and do it again. I like to see cars that can do it all. Fast in a straight line but also carves the corners.

By the way. I put the diff bushings and IRS locators on yesterday. Going to set up an appointment for a wheel alignment soon.

Haven't driven it yet but I do have comments on the install. No job is ever as fun working on your back on a concrete floor. The instructions for the diff bushings were pretty thorough. I installed the black 90 durometer poly bushings. A ratcheting box end wrench for the front diff bolts is pretty helpful. Dropping the exhaust would have made things much much easier but I pushed through without doing it.

Torquing bolts to 129 ft/lbs. while on your back with nothing to hold you still takes some real determination, not to mention squirming around on your back.

The only disappointment with the Steeda instruction was with the IRS locators. Perhaps I should have inspected them a little closer but they all looked the same in the package. Believe me they are two different sizes. Thought I was one bolt away from being done until the last sleeve wouldn't fit in the rear subframe mounts. Had to undo one of the front mounts to switch out the sleeves. It was at the end of the project. I was about beat and this required words that would get me banned from this site.

I'll post my thoughts on the performance after I get the car aligned.

Track on saturday, road course in a few weeks... I'll get you some solid numbers for sure

Good to hear you'll be putting that car to work.

Got my car aligned this morning. Took a quick drive around. There is improved stiffness in the IRS. It's not going to change much performance wise but accelerating feels a little less rubbery. I think with other mods these diff bushings will pay off.

The locators are doing their thing. The alignment was only slightly off. I bought the lifetime alignment from firestone. Have to do more modding to make that worth the money.

I think these mods are a good start overall. They were a little tedious and I'm glad I've got them out of the way. Next stuff should be easier bolt on bracing and bushing support system.

11 psi peak, fwiw when the car leaves it only sees 5 or 6 lbs until the rpms come up

sidebar: Going from a PP car to the Auto, the PP really gives you confidence in the corners. Going into a turn at speed, you get the rise in heart rate. But the PP suspension takes it and just feels normal. I always loved that. Now, the auto is like riding on a cloud and it is really nice. However, taking corners at speed tends to keep the heart rate up and not give you as much of a smile. What the auto does do for me is when I ride on a patch of crappy road, it really smooths out the ride. Two different animals, neither one is a clear winner; I love them both.

I sometimes wish I was auto. I hear really good things about them and its supposedly super strong. I just love banging gears though. I like to show off a lot so I'll blip the throttle at other cars with exhaust and things like that. Muscle car brotherhood sort of stuff I suppose. I love hearing a loud report back from another car with good sounding exhaust.

I feel the same way, Brother. One thing that I was surprised with was the auto in sport mode blips on the downshifts. I had no idea it did that. It rev matches. With the PP, the sport and race mode basically changes how much you'd spin tire, but the auto is 3 very different attitudes. It's cool what they did. Exhaust with a stick is why I bought my PP in the first place. Love it.

I didn't know that it rev matched! That's an awesome feature. do you still change gears by pressing volume buttons on the shifter? if so that's a big loss for me.

Paddle shifters on the wheel. Except the transmission is better at shifting itself that all but 7 drivers on the planet.

I might want to go test drive one. I've never been a fan of paddle shifters because they aren't as responsive as they should be. A long time ago I drove a built sl55 AMG merc with paddle shift and even with heave trans tuning it was slow at best. car was super powerful but you would have to hit the button like 1K before redline to get it to shift on time.

I can attest to the responsiveness of the paddle shifters being spot on. When I had the car out on the road course I couldn't have been happier with how they worked!
