that's completely 100% incorrect.

As posted by the next guy, use shims. Go to the crane site, they have the correct procedure for roller rocker adjustment. shims can be had for about $8 from summit.

So i should go to the crane site check the procedure and get the correct shim pack? If i remember right the guy that builtthe car said they kept backing off so he used diffrent bolt's or something to that degree? Is this process a pain in the ass or does it just sond confussing? Oh BTW what is there address for crane? I'm internet stupid! :nonono: peace

i believe it's cranecams.com

there will be directions there, you need to know how to search. it's a pain in the ass, but the only way to get it dialed in correctly.

yeah, i used the crane directions when i was in youre boat.

you probably won't want to do this, but pull off you're lower plenum, and MAKE SURE youre getting at least 20thousands pre-load on the lifter. lol, when i did heads on my car, i found out that the rocker arms were bottoming out on the pedistule before i got the correct preload on the lifter.

and i thought that you only need to shim you're rockers if you have too long of a pushrod...

but yeah, give that a try.

OK, my first post I was just replying towards your (86blue) first post, my second post I was just replying to carbed87's post. Now I am replying to your post again. Does that clear things up?

There is adjustability with pedestal mount rocker arms. It is a combination of pushrod length and shims.
