My tramismission is making an ungodly noise when it comes down in the revs, sounds like someone banging tin cans with steal bb's in em together. Does it with the clutch in or out, bad throwout bearing? pilot bearing? inputshaft bearing? anyone?

Can only speculate here. You'd really have to do some more investigating, or possibly drop the trans and open it up.

...and it's not good either. Might have something broke loose and rattling around in there somewhere.
Might be worth it to just get a tremec. Going to puchase a power adder hopefully in the near future.
