Little smoke and stumble at start.

Hey guys question: 04GT 6000 miles total...today at cold start the car stumbled for a quick second and a blue puff of smoke came out the pipes for 1-2 seconds. I was behind the car when it was started, that's why I noticed, what would cause something like that on a low mile engine...5000 with oil changed at first 600 miles,3000miles, and just recently at 5900. All changes were with castrol 5w30.

Did you have the crankcase overfilled by chance? The 04 GTs can't hold more than 6 quarts.

nope 5.7 in the crank..started her up again later after sitting for 5 hours..no sign of problem.

Well if it does it again, just let the dealer figure it out. This is why Ford gave us a warranty.

It's oil in the intake from the pcv system. Mine does this occasionally, it freaked me out at first, I thought it was valve guide seals. But, it's real intermittent, like three times every 10k miles, valve guides would do it almost every time it was cold. I finally figured that it was just enough blow by b/c of thin synthetic oil that would up puddled on top of the valves.
