LM-1 rpm converter connections

I want to run the LM-1 Rpm converter and have a few questions. I want to use the connections at the kick panel near the eec. Is this an acceptable location for good voltage readings?? I have a pin out diagram for the eec form this website and want to double check the few items I would like to datalog.
1. Mass air voltage=pin #50-dark blue/orange
2. Map sensor=pin #45-light green/black
I want to also use the computer ground at the eec to ground the rpm converter, is this ok?? I dont want a spike in the eec to cause any damage.
Are these the right pins for the sensors I want to datalog?? Thanks

your pins should be right (dont have my diagram in front of me), but as for your ground, i would use another nut/bolt setup. i dont have a reason, but i dont like the idea of grounding it off there.

Ok, I have datalogged using mass air voltage and it works great. I still want to double check a few items.
Map=pin #45 light green/black
Tps=pin #7 dark green/light green
Act=pin #25 light green/pink
These are the sensors I would like someone to double check the pin number and color schedule to make sure Im on the right track. Using the LM-1 has been very helpful. I can see why I have had driveability problems with the car. As soon as the the car is in cruise mode and the A/F ratio goes to 15.5 or leaner it will buck and miss. As I get into the high rpms the A/F goes to 10.1 and the car will lose all power.

I also need some information on some different sensors.
Idle speed control,egr solenoid,egr vaccum reg solenoid,and canister purge solenoid-Do all of the above sensors use a 0.0-5.0 voltage range?? Do any of the above sensors exceed 5 volts in there operation??

I happen to figure all of the above references out. If anyone needs any help on this type of unit "LM-1 rpm converter" I may be able to help you out.
On another note who has run a GM 3 bar Map sensor on there mustang to datalog boost pressure??
