Folks:

What would you guys think if I were to buy one of these and then rent it out? Not so much as a money maker, but just to help guys out. It's a really useful tool but no one wants to drop the nearly $500 to get one (after all the accessories).

I would get a nice hard case for it and everything. What do ya think? Would you pay $75 with shipping to rent one? I can handle the logistics such as a loan agreement and setting up a schedule and so forth. I think the user could keep it for two days which should be enough and pay extra for overtime use. Of course a fully refundable deposit would be needed, but this could go on a credit card.

Any thoughts?

Go HoTO, you know you can count on me for this one...I've been speaking highly of the LM-1 for a while and I don't even own one yet.
For those not in the know, ck out the the website, www.innovatemotorsports.com - and if you have a high-speed internet connection, ck out the Two Guys Garage video link on that page where they put the LM-1 thru the paces...This gadget is awesome.

has anyone used both the dynojet wideband commander and the lm-1? The dynojet one seems like a better solution since it mounts as a gauge inside the car whereas the LM-1 doesn't. The LM-1 seems like it would only be better if you are moving it between multiple cars alot.
