This car received an "LMR Mini Resto" which has now been performed on two cars: the 1993 black coupe and now the 1979 Cobra. Not every car needs the 10/10 restoration. Logan's 1986 Mustang GT is back on the dyno! He decided to part ways with the AOD slush box in favor of a tried and true T5. We've never had the opportunity to dyno the same car with the same mods with only difference being the transmissions. Well, now we have and the results were rather surprising!

Replace your faded, ripped, or worn-out 1987-1989 Mustang steering wheel with a 5.0 Resto leather steering wheel! The steering wheel in your Fox Body is one of the most used parts in your interior, especially for a daily-driven Mustang. Over time, you may notice the grain on the urethane turn smooth and shiny, eventually crack, and separate from the hoop. These black 5.0 Resto leather steering wheels mirror the design of your factory steering wheel for a comfortable OE feel and grip. Pick one up today to restore your Fox Body to have an interior that looks showroom new.

Starting with all new materials, these 5.0 Resto steering wheels have the correct two-spoke design, molded in an OE-style textured material. After the metals are formed to shape, the steering wheel is wrapped with premium black leather and stitched with black thread for a clean appearance that looks like it could have rolled off the assembly line. A new molded plastic backing plate secures the cruise control switches in place. 5.0 Resto offers this steering wheel for cars with cruise control and without. All you need to do is swap out your original wheel with the new 5.0 Resto unit, either replace or reuse your cruise control buttons (if equipped), and reinstall the original horn button.
