The two cars featured are a 2026 Mustang GTD and 2020 Shelby GT500 with the carbon fiber track package. Until the Dark Horse SC hits the street, comparing the last best Mustang to the GTD is an S550 GT500. Both feature a supercharged 5.2L engine and a host of track-specific add-ons.

Replace the corroded battery cables in your 1994-2004 Mustang with this high-quality LMR battery cable kit! Your battery cables are vital to operating the charging and starting system of your SN95 or New Edge. We all know that one of the biggest issues with this generation of cars is that the battery cables are integrated into the main harness with no replacements. Your only choice is finding a good second-hand harness, a NOS harness, or cutting up your factory wiring. LMR went about creating a solution-based cable kit that mimics the OE wiring. Excessive corrosion, engine bay heat, and general wear will deteriorate your battery cables. This can cause numerous issues, such as voltage drop, battery drain issues, improper charging, and unsafe operation of your Mustang. LMR's new main battery cable assembly includes positive battery cable, negative battery cable, that utilizes OE-style terminals and correct PCM ground.

LMR is dedicated to providing superior, solution-based products made from the highest quality materials! Each cable features OEM style construction to maintain the factory look. Heavy-duty vinyl rubber sheathing over the wires with a protective convoluted tubing loom protects the cables from engine bay heat and abrasion. These high-quality reproduction crossover tubes are designed to replace the cracked or leaking factory unit commonly found on these Mustangs. The original OE tube was susceptible to rusting from the inside out due to the lack of an internal protective coating, often leaving owners searching for hard-to-find used parts or costly NOS replacements. LMR’s solution is a durable reproduction crossover tube that features both internal and external corrosion-resistant coatings to help prevent future rust issues. Each tube is manufactured with the correct tubing diameters, factory-style mounting brackets, and proper seals to ensure a hassle-free installation.

Late Model Restoration’s commitment to delivering quality, solution-based products is evident in every detail of this coolant crossover tube. Constructed from durable steel and finished with a satin black E-coat both inside and out, this tube is built to last. Precision-stamped and welded mounting brackets are positioned exactly like the factory unit for an OE-style fit and function. Factory dual sensor ports are retained, along with the original vent port on top of the tube. PP1 S550 Mustang Gets Roush MagneRide Lowering Springs & Sway Bars

When it comes to suspension parts, there’s a lot of stuff to choose from. Lee, one of LMR’s tenured employees opted for Roush suspension components on his Performance Pack 1 S550 Mustang GT. These parts include lowering springs for the Magneride suspension, front and rear adjustable sway bars, and a Magneride calibration to take advantage of new ride height. While we were here, Dark Horse camber plates were fitted to the struts for quick camber adjustment whenever Lee frequents the track.

Landan will walk you through some of the installation steps while providing some highlighted tech notes along the way. After the parts are buttoned up, we hit the street with Lee’s car to provide some feedback on the newly installed parts.
