AFR claims the 225 outlaw head is the best 20* head on the market...

maybe they should take a look at these
http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=317468 they claim 380CFM but ive heard from a few guys they are actually up over 390CFM

btw the thread title was based off the question in the trick flows new head thread about comparing them to AFR's. i actually had to go to AFR's site to see if they actually made anything like the trick flows. and noticed this

I gotta ask... what's all the AFR hate about over the last year or so? You'd think they were jambing out chinese knock-offs or something.
i got no problems with AFR... there is just much better stuff out there. i found there claim as the best 20* head on the market funny.

kinda seems like apples to oranges when you look at the price tag and availability. Yeah, AFR's claim might be off (which is how marketing works) but think about the average joe shopping for his set of performers or upgrading from GT40s. bang for the buck AFRs are as good as it gets on that level. Nothing against TFS, as theyre right up there on the same level.

Just asking. Seems like a lot of axes to grind with AFR lately but nothing to indicate problems or anything, with their stuff.

yeah i noticed this too lol im real happy with my afr 185 heads i got better things to do then a pissin match over afr versus trick flow heads i let the experts figure it out then i read about it .........really both companies make very good heads

"Best" is completely subjective, that's why you hear it in marketing all the time- you don't really need any facts to back it up. I wouldn't crucify AFR for it though, haha.

Now if they said "best flowing" then yea, that would be complete BS. :p
