I just got a awesome deal on a pro chamber h-pipe for long tubes but I dont know if I should switch or not.It is not a very big deal about buying the h-pipe cause my friend will buy it if I dont use it.I already have mac equal length and off road pipe .I have a 90 lx with afr 165's 1.7 rockers e-cam porteed cobra intake 24lb injectors bbk cold air 70 mm throttle body and I am putting an nitrous express wet kit on and planning on running 125 shot.Am I going to benifit switching to the long tubes or should I sell it to my friend.Someone told me long tubes will give more top end power and the shorties will help on the low end.Money is not a big deal cause I can sell my current setup I just put it on last year so it is still in great shape.I am also running 3.73 gears.

Long tube headers are just better all around they dont give up power anywhere. Thing is they can be a pain in the but to instal. So worth the power gains though. They also add some attitude in the sound department.

If you're up for the install go with the long tubes. It will take a while and be a pain, but IMO its worth it.

Longtubes are not hard to install if you get everything out of the way first. For reference do a search on "longtubes", it has been described many times.

I am not really worried about the install I helped my frien and I think his long tubes were easier than my mac equal lengths.I was wondering if the powegains would be worth and apperantly everyone thinks so.If it makes it sound better thats just a plus. Thanks for the info guys.
