Hey guys. I'd like to do longtubes on my car when I do my blower, but I don't know if I can. I live in a town with bastard po-po who bag anyone making noise. Therefore, I really want to stay with cats, both for noise reduction and legalities. I plan on running a Steeda (Borla) side exhaust with a Mac Prochamber mid pipe. What I want to know is, are there any midpipes for LTs that have cats, or am I stuck with shorty headers?

have you looked around for a short mid pipe with headers, and no luck? The reason I ask is because I did some looking on the net and didnt find any either recently though Ive helped install a mac setup years ago with cats on a 2v. Its just harder to find that short h pipe with cats.

SLP sells cats for their LT/X combo as does Bassani but keep in mind in some states ANY modification to the stock cats is illegal so watch that

EDIT: Bassani is mid-lengh but you get the idea

BBK offers shorty X-pipes with cats. My longtubes with their catted X-pipe and Magnaflow catback was really quiet. Too quiet for me in fact

I'm currently running Mac LT's, and just installed the offroad h-pipe....too loud and raspy w/ my magnapacks IMO...I'll be looking into the same bbk catted pipes when inspection time rolls around next year
