$150 dollars of insurance is cheaper than my kit. Hogwash or not...a pyrometer on the exhaust side doesnt tend to lie. If the temp drops, the chances of caked oil are reduced.

i trapped 110 with my 347 but my timing was set way low and I didnt realize it so it may do more next time.

That is what ricers do. They run into a 5.0, running like Foxfan's car used to run (16.8) and then talk about how they smoked a 5.0 as though they went against a healthy one.

I completely agree with you. People race ONE slow car of a certian make and then assume all cars of that make are slow. Mostof the 5.0's around here are beat to hell and running maybe 60-80% of what they should. People always assume Mustangs "suck" because they "smoked" one. The problem is it works both ways, as you can see. Someone watches a video of a guy with a Civic with "just" a motor swap and a turbo kit and then assumes all swapped Civics with turbos are slow. Not the case..

And believe me, I am well aware of what a motor swap and turbo kit would do in a fox. Displacement rules. Thats just the name of the game. You can't really compare what a 1.6l does to a 5.0l.

What was done w/ your 347 ? Im looking at having one built by RNH performance w/ some TW Heads, TW Intake ( both Ported ) just wondering what Id be looking at for times VS what you have done w/ your 347 ?

This is a Mustang site. I love Mustangs.
This is not a civic site. I hate civics.
The woman has a civic. I will not be seen in it.
If my ls breaks down we take the work truck.
When shes not look'in. I spit on her civic, kick around a lil,
and always talk down to it.
The civic doesn't even get the extra effort for a capital C.

99.9% of all civics on all streets? or just on the street in your neighborhood. the cft civic is just one of the many 10 second daily driver civics out there. I hope you were just being sarcastic.

Hey he just asked who won and I told him. He might be a supra slayer, not trying to be stereotipical but dont most supras with 800-1000hp run 11's? He was talking alot of crap to the AMS Evo witch has over 900hp and running 9's. And the ams evo is a 4cyl, but im sure you knew that. To bad he couldnt back it up.

Even if there are 1000 civics out there that are faster, that would still be less than .1 of the civics out there. Of all the modded ones out there, only 1% are decently quick.

Its still a small percentage of the cars taht actually have that much, so Yes his car probably could smoke 99 out of 100 civics, put it that way.
