I have a few questions..........please help me answer them......
1. Ok after cleaning the head, and timing cover mating surfaces on the block and scraping all you can possibly get off off........What is the best way to prep the block for the gaskets etc........???????????
2. With an open oil pan while you are scraping debris seems to get into the oil pan and misc places in the blockis there a good way to clean it out without pulling the pan.........( i am considering buying some cheaper oil and pouring it into the lifter valley and lettting it drain all the way into a drain pan with both oil plugs open...(will this work?????) If not someone please make some suggestions.
3. After you have the junk clean out of oil pan etc.......and have new oil in it right before installing the dist.......can you take an adapter of sorts and use that on a drill to spin the oil pump creating oiling for the motor to make sure it is lubed.....if so which direction does it need to rotate........
4 Is there an easy way to clean out all the bolt holes to make sure they have no sludge etc built up in them other than a tap and die setup.........
5. Does ANYONE, I MEAN ANYONE, know where to find a injector o-ring and pintle kit for 19lb injectors(rio i lost the number etc. again if you see this please reply)
6. What will be the best way to do a cooling system flush to get rid of excess debris etc. in the water passages without doing it with the car running........i don't want to clog my fluidyne radiator with trash.........
any other tips trick etc.........please let me know............
