Actually it costs more then that initially, under the Custom STi Stage4 DOHC Cylinder Head Package it says " *Price does not include shipping and Core Charge of $3,500.00." So you get to pay an additional 3.5k core charge until you ship your head back to them. This kit is ridiculous, I bet its closer to 40k after shipping and every other little thing is added in, not to mention the necessary drive train upgrades that would be required, I would guess you would need another 5k-7k in complementary upgrades and tuning after this kit is installed. If you add all that into the base cost of an STi (32k) you end up spending close to 80k imagine what 80k could do power wise to a mustang you could buy an 04 cobra and still have 50k to play with. Or you could start off with a new Z06. I cant believe people buy that kit, I though MPH's 10k TT kit was expensive, this is 3x that lol.

^ omg yes...

25k for a used Cobra, and then even only 30k on top of that would make one incredibly amazingly sick ass car.

This thread stressed me out financially. Aren't you like 20 and a mechanic? It's called buying a house. It acually retains value and I hear women would rather sleep in a bed than a $30k car with a loud BOV that beats 17 year olds on the highway.

Nice find.

Why do people feel the need to come on the internet and just outright lie to everybody. Do they really think that we are that stupid to believe them??

I think Kilgore was joking about the Ford Probe thing.

1989 Ford Probe didn't come in brown.

Link?
Your no more trust worthy than pennywise IMO, so bust out the proof or go home.
You guys are all on the same trust level in my book....there are very few on here that I would actually believe if they said that.

Nope .

Honestly I would have to think about it for a while and see if I would trust anyone that said it EXACTLY like that. Basically the people I trust would definatly word it differently and give a link or something....or atleast HOW they found out.
If that was the case, then yes I would believe you....Killy however would still need a link .

I should reword my original statement....killy is slightly lower than most in my trust book ahahaha. Him, ernad, and streetstang can not be trusted .

I still can't get over the price of that kit.

My set up and I should be around after tune 500 rwhp, 431 now at 11psi stock top end.

2799.00 MMR 900 SB
4000.00 Sc/intercooler and support mods (Maf injectors tune etc)
1300.00 cams and exhaust tb/plenum
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8099.00 = 500rw Dependable hp. You could do it for 5700-6k if you're nuts enough to do it with out a built SB.

4000.00 more for 650+ So 12,099.00 for 650+ RW dependable hp on pump gas.
About 1/3 the price.

So if you bought a used GT for 5k and modded it for 12k you would have a Viper stomping, Zo6 whipping, bads azz stang for 17k. Even if you didn't already own a Mustang. Half the price of the subie kit and that includes the car.

Used sti 28k and overpriced kit mentioned in this thread at 32k that's only 60k!! what a bargin. lol
