This will be an on going thread for my truck. As I do things I'll post it up for ya's to see. Sounds like a good idea to me. Won't be no major stuff I need to fix my stang.

Well it was a busy day. I was planing on sitting the truck up on 4 jack stands and doing all the painting at once. That didn't happen. I couldn't find our other set of stands and I was having jacking problems. I seen someone on here do this a few weeks ago and it gave me an idea. I needed new brakes so why not paint up stuff while I'm at it. After getting the rears off I found that the rear brakes are fine they got tons of pad left. Good news i guess Even though I bought a new set. Guess I'll be ready when they go. Didn't get to the fronts today so that will be tomorrow. I know they need changed they grind even when I'm not on the brakes . Was also planing on welding up the brackets to hold my rear fog lights up. I got a set of fog/driving lights what ever you wanna call them to mount on my hitch. I'm gonna use them for extra backup lights and for rear lighting if its ever needed. I've had them for like 3 years lol and now I can't find them.

well today went BAD. I got the front wheels off and could the inner pads were shot. The pass side was down to metal and was digging into the rotor. The driver side was damn close. For some damn reason Dodge decided to use different bolts on the fronts brakes then the rear *******S. So I had to have different tools. Well the caliper bracket bolts wouldn't budge. After that I said screw it and gave up for the day. It was hot out and I had a headache so I'll go back at it tomorrow with the impact gun

Full Floating axles are cool...

Sucks about the front. Had to do brakes on a buds truck a few weeks ago and it took 45 minutes to get one of the rotors off... ended up using a prybar for contast leverage and a 10lb slege to impact/shock it...

I had the same problem. The pistons were out so far that the pads were jammed up against the rotors. There was no give. Also there little nipples on the back of the pads the went inside the holes at the end of the pistons. I had to work it enough to ge a c clap to fix in there (just barely btw) and depres one to get it to give

Nice! the people that are into detail will notice it. You think I can borrow the light:D

ummm no lol even though I live across the street from the station and I never get to use it

I siad **** it today. I don't feel like messing with it before work i've been doing it for 2 days I need a break from it
