Look what I picked up last night!

It's a Tremec 3550 proshifted by Hanlon. I got the trans, lakewood bellhousing, hayes clutch, centerforce clutch, extended clutch fork, hayes flywheel, and other odds and ends for $1300. Trans only has about 10 passes on it since a complete overhaul by Gene Hindman. I think I got a good deal.

Nice I'm in the market for a new trans. how does the 3550 stack up. My t-5 has lasted 210k miles but its starting to slowly give way.

thats a great price for what you got. i've had no complaints with my 3550 other than when i bent the output shaft. i've since upgraded the input and output shafts to TKO specs

How much were the upgraded input and output shafts? Where did you get them? How hard were they to install?

That is a good deal Thats the transmission I have in mine as well. Its survived about 40 track passes since last year so far.

i got all the stuff from Promotion performance. i got a clutch and pressure plate and all that good stuff at the same time. shoot a mail to killercanary, he's got all the good info for them. i can't remember it off the top of my head.
