well i have been waiting for to since the guy said it shipped it thursday. I had the start work today at 7 but when the first 15 min break came around i headed to the post office!!!and this is what i found!!(pics taken with camera phone)


It is the comp cams Xtreme energy EFI XE274HR
Duration@.050= 224/232
valve lift with 1.6 rockers= 555/565
Lode seperation angle= 112

A real big thanks to Mike(mikemustang289) For the great deal on the cam!!!

i had that cam in my fox with a 331. pretty decent ots cam.

starts pulling over 3000. nice idle.

Make sure you get some nice relieves in the pistons... Anything over 230 @.050 with anything larger then a 1.90 intake valve usually needs to be flycut (stock pistons) I had an XE274H in my 83 (flat tappet, completely different grind) and it sounded siiiiiiick..... Hell... Photobucket now lets you host videos... Here's the old girl.. I miss her.... (after AFR's and the XE)

when i had the heads off the piston looked like they had enough. ill be glad when i get all the stuff and it can be put in

atleast check the clearance.

clay is cheaper then a new shortblock.

yeah i will. i have another short block but it only a stock 302
