Ok im looking for a long block as stated..I blew a head gasket i belive, on my orginal 172K motor in my 89 while running N20 against a GTO. Seized the motor pretty well. It was getting tired anyway. Im looking to stay under 4000 dollars. But i want around 350HP-400HP N/A also i want to be able to get some upgraded parts cuz i plan on supercharging not running nitrous.

Here is what i plan on putting on the long block..I have a 89 GT full weight
3.73's
Cold air intake
Trickflow street intake
24lb inj with Mass air
MSD 6al
255 pump
adj. fuel press reg.
those are the main things that made me go fast..
I ran a 13.2 @109 when i was running a 50 shot. On street tires
So i can tell ya im looking for 12s all motor around 110+

Here are 2 places i found jus browsing around.... PLEASE if anyone has any input let me know...Like if u got a motor from a certain place and it was good or sucked...

Ford Motorsports sells some nice crate motors. Check out Jegs or Summit Racing websites.

Just as "Ford Racing 302" stated, get you a 351w short\long block off Ebay or at your local salvage yard. They are stronger than your stock 302, better valve to piston clearance with high lift cams. not to mention the displacement. Granite they are heavier and taller but it makes up for it in torque. I got one and stroked it out to 396 ci. I also put the Holcomb solid lowering motor mounts to give me better hood clearance. With the money you save you can get that supercharger and a decent pair of heads. I have 3:08 gears and my Mustang screams. Just my 2 cents. Yelladawg
