Looking at a Griffin radiator... any imput would help

I have always liked the direct replacement copper radiators from your local parts store. For pretty cheap you get a very effective rad.

I am using one of the 2-core units on my 408w, and the temps have never been out of control.

Just another option for when you are on a budget.

Just a note/opinion
Epoxy is not a bad thing. It is used in a variety of applications, including aerospace.
The plastic will not degrade with the heat cycling (probably the concern most often expressed), and will never corrode like metals will.

If plastics could dissapate heat better, they would be a much better solution for the radiator than metals. No corrosion.

If you plan on getting a universal radiator, I would go with a Northern, summit carries them under the "Summit" brand.

The difference it made over my stock radiator has me sold on them. They are cheap, and quality is excellent.

hey 04sleeper - i bought one of those radiators and i love it. it's all welded and rock solid. one of my best mods to date. it looks killer serious, and for $223.00 i got a great deal. i noticed they went up a few dollars on the price since i bought one, but it's still a very good bargain.

I haven't had time to get this stuff in the car yet, but I went with the Griffin and ramcharger fan. Here are some pics of it all mounted up...it seems like a nice unit.
