Alright guys, I ain't new here and I know this question comes up at least twice a week but I really need your help. Do you know any company besides Michelin that makes 315 18" tires ? If not, do you think 295 would look good on 10.5" wheels ? I don't want to make to same mistake again, ie buying tires that are too narrow for the wheels.

I'm starting to believe I should have went with 17"

Thanks

I have the same problem !!! And I don't like the Pirellis.

There are those new Nitto 305/30/18. I don't know if they are wider than the Gforce 295/35/18, I heard Nitto tires are more narrow for the same width than other brands...?

18's suck, get some 17's. 18" is just to much of a hasle, and a 17" rim is more than enough for a dropped mustang

I just went to the Nitto website and the only 305 18" tire has a sidewall of 35 so it is a little too tall. Even worse, it has a treadwear rating of 100

Is the new Nitto you're talking about out yet ? I hope a 305 30 18 Nitto 555 make its apparition on the market soon, would be nice

With 18" wheels becoming OE equipment more and more, I can't believe there isn't more choice...

The 35 sidewall is ok, not much different from a 295/35 tire...
295/35 = 10.3cm = 4.06 inch sidewall
305/35 = 10.6cm = 4.20 inch sidewall --> 3% more

and for comparaison
305/30 = 9.15cm = 3.60 inch sidewall --> 12% less
315/30 = 9.45cm = 3.72 inch sidewall --> 9% less

All are very close in size and appearance !

I'd love some BFG Gforce 315/30/18 !!!
