Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many cars usually go to this BBQ on Sunday Jeff? I was looking at the classes. Looks like we will be parking next to one another :nice: It will give me a good chance to see your car in person and shoot the s**t with you.

Looking forward to it. As long as the weather cooperates. I was going to go last year, but the weather was iffy.

There is usually a decent turnout. Can't give you an exact number. However, definitely worth the drive. I look forward to parking beside you and shooting the sh**, as well. There are going to be quite a few fans of your car when you arrive. I've already spread the word that a beautiful car will be attending.
Last years show turned out to be one fo the hottest shows of the year. I think it was about 38 with the humidity. LOL. rained on the way down though. :nonono:

I hope I don't disappoint anyone. As long as it doesn't rain, I don't care how hot it gets. I have a big tent to sit under :D

I'll see you there. What time do you plan on going?

With that thing....I'm 110%, you won't.
I am leaving Woodstock at about 9. Should be getting there at 11:00'ish. I'll PM you my cell phone number. Call me any time after 9:30 on Sunday Morning.

i would trade my car for an 04' mystic cobra coupe

Or an srt-4 of course, but no one is that dumb to trade with me :(

LOLOL...I'd consider interesting trades, as well. Definitely and SRT-4. LOL.
I'm really hoping someone with a 93 is looking to trade, though.

:nice:

I here that!!!!! I like driving my car, but hate driving it at the same time because I know I am going to have to clean it after I get home.

AND.......I always worry about getting rock chips or anything else happening to it when I do have it out :(

I know I walked into this convo waaaaaaaaay late but....

Yes they/we/I do! lol That's why so many of the they/we/I's have engine bays that look like:

For the right price...even locally, the car is going to go. It will be replaced by a 93 SVT Cobra....NO DOUBT. Spread the word, people. :D

Damn, you're just itchin' huh? I'll give ya $5K right now :D That sounds right to me ;)

I'll spread the word but I only personally know one guy with a '93 Cobra, as I said :(

I think if you put a big ol' FOR SALE sign on it at FFW, you improve your chances of moving it by 500%.

They won't allow 'For Sale' signs at the show, unless you're a vendor. I've looked into it.
I want to put a dollar amount on it. However, I don't know where to start. Like a friend of mine said to me, "It's hard to put a dollar amount on something that cherry." LOL.
I really wouldn't know where to start. I think I'm officially putting it on the market, shortly though.
The more I think of it, the more I want a new project. Let someone else enjoy this one.
Let me ask you this....If you were to put a dollar amount on a car of our class, where would you start? At the end of the day, it's going to go to someone that knows waht they're buying. Not some guy looking for a 'MUSTANG'. don't be afraid. I'm very clueless, right now.
I have my eyes set closely on one with very low Miles. I just spoke to him on the phone. He may be interested in a trade.

Personally I have no idea. There's a thread on my car club forum going on now by a guy in the same predicament. He was asked how much he'd take for the car and he had no idea what to say. He gave a price and the guy said "that's a lot of money for a 13 year old car!" - obviously not the right type of person to buy it in the first place =P

I have no idea the kind of money you'd have to wave in my face to get me to sell mine. Nothing any sane person would offer anyway, lol. But I'm not in the I-wanna-sell mode, so no worry either way.

Good luck w/that Cobra, but I'm going to be sad to see that coupe go!

I've seen people with For Sale signs at the FFWs up here

I would absolutely love to be on your place right now. i would trade my GT and $$$ for a 93 SVT in a heartbeat if the wife would go for it. Ive wanted one bad ever since they came out. When you start modding it, just dont do anything that isnt easily reversed, and make sure to keep ALL the factory parts! Those cars are already worth signifcantly more than the newer SVT Cobras. A low mile, ub3r clean one will bring as much as a Terminator.

No offense but you are out of your mind if you think a low mile (unless you're talking a couple thousand..even then, possibly not) 93 Cobra will get a price in the high $20K's.

out of my mind? Yes, I am talking about the cub 15k miles cars, and they usually bring 20-24k. Most 03-04 Cobras around me go for 25ish. But remember were are comparing cars that are 10 years apart. Look at the 94-98 Cobras, you can pick up a really clean one for under 10k. What I am trying to say is that they hold their value better than any other SVT, hands down. (cept the "R" models, but those are beyond you and me, so they dont count)
