I dont think my shockswill pass inspection this year. So if i have to replace them i would like to put on some shocks and struts that will give a decent ride but help me hook better at the track. My car is lowered about 1.5" and currently has the stock shocks and struts on. My best 60ft was a 1.82 with Nitto drag radials, but that was the only time. most of my 60ft. times are high 1.9's to 2.0's. I only go to track once a month, and my car is my dailly driver. I would like to spend less than 500 if possible.

Buy the 10 way adjustable strange ones. They will work great on the street and the strip. I think the strutts are around $110ea and the shocks were $65ea.

Are those Strange's any good for handling? Or are they pretty much intended for street/strip use only?

They are a good shock for Street/strip. On full loose I would say it would be the same as a 90/10 and on full tight it is a lil stiffer then a regular shock.

on lowest setting the strange struts are extremely loose. i barely tap the gas and the front suspension fully extends. strange says with the tighter setting you can use it to road race. setting number 5 is supposed to be like 50/50 is what i was told

The strange shock and strut sound like what i want. Anybody have an idea of what the life expectancy is of that set up.
