I need help. I am looking for a good 16x12 autocross tire. I am not sure what type of compound to get and what brand to order. Please help if you can.

You can go to www.tirerack.com they have alot of tire choices. I would go with the Yokahama autocross, i dont think they make a tire in that size. What size wheel do you have wheels do you have that are 16x12?
Yes I just ordered my new 16X12 Rims. They were only $101 per rim. That is not bad. I have Hoosier A3S05's now and since I am in CP class I can run a full slick to race on. Just looking other choices.
