Any Mustang owners that race in Greensburg, PA on here? We usually hang out at Pep Boys on rt. 30 (right across from the Eastgate plaza with Giant Eagle). We've raced a few Mustangs on that strip there and we were looking for some of them on the net.
Don't get all defensive (or offensive), but we all own Cobalt SS's. There's usually a group of 4 to 10 of us there.... but one kid that is usually there with us owns a yellow Mach 1.
The reason I'm looking for local racers is because I'm trying to find some more info on a kid that drives a white v6 (last-gen). He has a black stripe on the side, about halfway up the car (not the one that runs along the bottom). A GT owner raced my buddy and stopped to talk to us the one night. He said this kid always tells stories about how he beats everything. I was just curious what he said about his race with me the other night.
I have all the respect in the world for Mustangs... I almost bought one. But this v6 was slow. Furthermore, the kid wouldn't race me again from a stop. We ran from a roll and I beat him pretty bad. I wanted to see how I'd fare from a dig though. So if you've raced around there, or know of this kid, let me know. I'm lookin for a v6 race.
On another note, that Mach 1 that sits with us.... crushes all of us. There are 2 of us that can hang with him... but they have extensive mods. I don't stand a chance against the v8's. But those guys are always lookin for GT's, Mach 1's, and Cobras to race. So if you're in Greensburg, let me know.
