looking for info on cobra brakes on a gt

I have a 98 mustang GT. I bought 01 mustang cobra rotors, calipers, & brackets. As I tried to install them, the brackets would not bolt to the rear end housing. It appears the rotors are too large, because the bracket is tight to the outside of the rotor and the brackets are not close enough to the bolt holes on the housing. I was told these would bolt right on. Anyone have some info on this? Is there an adaptor plate available to bolt on these brackets?

got any pics? I think i know what you are talking about and you have to clearance the caliper bracket a little. you can shim it out with 2 steel washers also.
