I know that technically this should be posted in the classified section, but I think I will get more response/assistance from this forum. My friend is in the market for a 69 Fastback and I am looking for leads on a good solid turn key car. Here's his list of wants:
Must be 69 Fastback. Doesn't want a 70 or a coupe.
Desires a Mach 1
Small block, prefers a 351, but would also like a stroked 347
4 speed stick or possible 5 speed conversion done (does not want an automatic)
Power steering
Prefers power brakes, but open to an aftermarket swap if needed
Color preferences are: calypso coral, red, burgundy, black, white. Does not really want greens, indian fire, yellow or blue, but might consider based on price and rest of the car.
He is really looking for a car he can buy and drive & enjoy. Not looking for a factory correct restoration, but that is also ok. He is a high detail person and wants a car that has been restored with quality craftsmanship. I know this might be a bit of needle in the haystack, but I also know that this forum has been a great source for me and there are enough of us Mustang freaks to know if anything like this is out there and for sale. He is checking eBay and other sites on the internet, but please post anything you think might fit the bill. Thanks in advance
