Looking for pics of rides with 17x10 deep dish wheels?

I would like to see a few pics of guys 94' or 95' stangs with 17x10's and the 315 rubber.

I'm having a hard time deciding as to which to go with. 17x9 with 275/40 rubber or 17x10's with 315/35's.

Wouldn't mind a side picture of the car and a picture from the rear showing the entire back of the car....

i only bought the back wheels because i was trying to hit 13's before the track closed, but you get the picture

17x10.5 with Nitto 555R's 315/35/17

Only thing i dont like about 315 tires is the lack of sidewall

i am also thinking about ditching my 18s and going to 17s, with 10" in the back. my son needed to drive my stang to school for a few days, and as murphy's law would have it, one of the days he hit a patch of black ice and ended up going over a curb, ruining two of the rims and tires. luckily, that was all that happened.

but i have been thinking about getting deep dishes anyway, so now that i need to get new rims anyway, i might as well get deep dishes

what tires did you go with and how much did they cost?

now its 681.98 at american muscle, thats for the black deep dish FR-500's and the tires

17x10.5 with Nitto 555R's 315/35/17 they had a deal going on when i did it so it was about 7% off. Took forever to get them to me but they are nice. not as sticky as i would like but i didnt play around with PSI that much at the track. thats for the black deep dish FR-500's fronts for this set up with their cheaper tire is 498 so the whole set gets kinda spendy lol..

from my perspective that is a great price. these rear tires alone, the TOYO R-888s, were in the ballpark of $300 each. the fronts (also TOYOs) were around $200 each a year ago. that puts me at a grand just for the rubber.

I love toyo's my proxies are a great tire for the price defiantly helped with turning in the rain...

wasnt too bad i DD with those Nittos here in Oregon/Washington (rain ice) and it can get a little crazy at times but i never spun out or came close to it. i put about 800 miles a month on my car so im over the 5k they are supposed to be okay in the rain (thats with going to the track and warming them up) they still have tons of rubber on them. i kept my proxies up front and when it started to snow i went back to my stocks in the back with chains.

The tail pipes are actually further in and behind the inside fender well, i had it rub only when i was trying to get into a parking lot with a steep entrence. I just went in there and hit it in a little bit to get it to stop, worked out great. (I had those 315s with my old exhaust set up) And if you had any other issues with rubbing from the exhaust id just take it to a little exhaust shop if you dont want to do it yourself and they could help you out.

Oh I should mention that I clearanced my fender and had to remove my quad shocks to get these to fit.

I see that each car/situation seems to be a little bit different in regards to fitment? Must be wheel design or offset??

Some guys roll their fender well and remove their quad shocks, some guys dont' do anything at all, and some guys get interference with tailpipes etc??

I'm still confused as ever!

The other thing I noticed is that there appears to be a limited nmber of manufactureres that produce a 315/35/17 sized tire, where as a 275/40/17 is numerous.

I just wonder if the extra 1" in tire width is worth the hassle of fitment and tire availabily and cost?

Anyone got a few pics of what 275's look like on a set of 17x9's?

I have the 17x10.5 Cobra wheel on my 95. When I bought the car it still had the quad shocks on it. The car was stock ride height though. When I lowered the car, and installed my MM PHR I did remove the quad shocks, and had tap the inside well in just a slight bitto get rid of rub when the car would twist going into parking lots.

HUGE difference in looks with the 315/35...

Although I am thinking of taking my front tires from the 275/40/17 to a 245/45/17 when I change the tires...

Anyone have pisc of a car with 315's in the back and 245's in the front?

Wow.....that is a substantial difference. I was going to install 315's with 245's in the front of my car. Currently I run 245's all the way around. Not sure if is helps but here is 17x8's with 245's.... With my current wheels, 245's rub a teeny bit on really sharp turns. As you can see, 245's in the rear are meager at best. 275's are only 1 inch wider.

I would prefer 315s, but I don't want to loose my quads or have to start banging **** out to get them to fit, but I prefer the look
