I know where that car is. What exactly would you like to know.

no way it cant be that easy
ive been asking for a couple of years everywhere no one has even heard of one like it.

i wanted this car as soon as i saw it
wheni got older and i started making more money, and after my company started growing i started looking for the car
i was willing and able to purchase it at the beginning of this summer,
had a few setbacks i had to help the company with my own funds so we could get a new truck, now in set back a little, but
i will be able, by middle of next summer for sure

but anyway i just want to know where its at,
if the owner has had any thoughts about selling hopefully less than the 80 it was up for before
if its still in the same condition

maybe an e-mail or something so i wont miss out next time

oh ya also snything just to prove to everyone im not crazy lol

you sure its the same one? a little too good to be true, really

thanks

Well, the car I'm thinking about was a 97 S281 red convert with an added S351 dual plane wing with black interior. I don't remember the bumper number. It had a twin turbo set up. It wasn't an S351 and wasn't in the best shape.
Does that sound like the same car? I only remember because a friend of mine in Northern California mentioned something about it a few months ago. I can see if he can get the guys number if you would like.
Even if we are talking about the same car you would'nt want it anyway. You can duplicate that same set up for a lot less money and the car I know of is not an S351.

make one for less now that got my attention??!!

i do want an original
from saleen
amazing power in thoes 97's

mybe im just a bad judge of value but i think this car was almost worth the price

I just reread the article and found that Turbo Driven Concepts, in Hialeah, Florida built the car. The guy who own's/owned it is named Hamed Moonsori and lives in Spokane, Washington.

Hope this helps

thanks ragu but its only got 6??
im lookin for the ones with 1200!

ill look into that soon v8stang
thanks

Yeh thats the one. He kept building up because he was afraid of getting beaten by Ricers. It was 1200 or so HP.

It was up for sale a couple of years ago. From memory he was looking for 100K or so for it.

Probably the last good thing Scotty from TDC ever built.

Saleen Seeker - That car was up for sale close to two years ago.....It was on the cover of the Mustang and Ford Trader that is a national wide trader published once a month. If you would like, I can dig through my old traders and most likely find that issue with the guys number. I believe he wanted in the $80,000 range. Of course, the article in 5.0 does mention that it is a true 97 S281 with a ford 351 crate motor dropped in. While he has a lot of money into the car, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If he still has it for sale, you could always wheel and deal with him :)

Ragu1585 - With the way the market is right now, that blue coupe is way overpriced. I bought my 97 S351 Speedster #01 for $37,500 and that was two years ago when the resale market on a Saleen was still good. If you want a great deal on a piece of saleen history, go to http://www.performanceautosport.com/cfs/detail/031010b_cons.html and check out our friend Bart's S351 for sale. Its a 94 S351 "R" Black Speedster #11 The first ever S351 sold to the public. Pretty rare care and you can't beat the price for it right now. He has a lot of literature for the car and its in great shape.....

I'm quite sure I've seen the car, although I don't beleive it's daily driven anymore. However, the price for a twin turbo set up from Pro Turbo kits in Texas can build a kit to any dimentions of your choosing. I was there last Feb for the turbo mustangs shoot-out sponsered by PTK...believe me, 1200 hp from twins is not hard if you have the right block.

You can build a 1200 hp car for a whole lot less than $80,000! Mine didn't cost anywhere near that. If you are looking for something you can drive fairly often then you you might want to look for something in the 650 hp range. A 1200 hp street car is fun, till it breaks and starts digging into your wallet. They won't survive everyday driving.
