hi everyone! just started posting here today, site looks sic guys. just came back from the thread"notch pics" and i gotta say we got some pretty nice cars on here..

anyway i own a 92 triple white lx vert and looking to do the following

1)convert to cobra disc brake kit(front/back)
2)18" rims/tire combo
3)lower as much as possible while acheiving a rake look
4)i want the fenders to cover top of the tires(more soo on the front)

I'm having trouble finding some information or pics to help me with this process. every pic of the lxs i have seen have had the rims sticking out passed the fender lip.

I don't mind doing the research, just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

sorry for the long post

thanks guys for any help

My car is lowered on 18s... Your best bet is to keep it a little higher than what you suggest. The rear will be fine I think, the fronts will have a lot of issues with rubbing.

this is what i have been hearing. I'm thinking i'm going to go with 17x8 in the front to really get those fenders covering the tires(as much of a rake as possible)

235/40/17 front

&

255/35/18(deep as possible, thinking 2-2.5inch deep) rear.

you guys think i can get away with this combo without rolling the fender lips?

I have a set of 17in cobra r's 17x8, 235/45/17 front and 17x9, 255/40/17 rear. The car is lowered 1.5 inches. I am okay in the front, had to remove the quads in the rear and get a bit of rub on the fender. You will have to roll with what you want to drop.
