what would be the best rear gears for power adders, e.g. forced induction?

I can only speak for my current setup but the factory 3.55's would probably be my first choice if I was only driving it on the street.

I can drive in 2nd gear, mash the pedal and smoke my 275/40 18" Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's

My M/T E.T. Streets get me down the track in 11.44 @ 124.8mph at 6200rpm which is perfect.

Saleen S/C 10 psi. Approx. 475rwhp. 4.10's

Bigcat, I went with FRPP gears and the install kit was from Late Model Restoration and Supply. Was more than surprised by all they supplied. Last month I did a auburn carrier and 3.73's on a Camaro SS and the install kit didn't have near the amount of shims that came with this Late model kit for my mustang.

Oh, the kit was nothin more than the usual, new carrier bearings, carrier shims, new pinion bearing, crush washer and shims, new ring gear bolts, obviously 4.10 gear set, paint to assure gear mesh, lube and additive etc..
