Just like the title says, my 94 is giving me a pain in the arse, and I sold my DD, and am now carless..... So I started looking for a little beater honda, mitsu, yota, etc.. When I run across a black on black 85k mile 98 cobra for sale, so I start thinking hmmmm. I can pick it up for $8500, and thats about what I was going to spend on my DD, so i'm going to look at it in about an hour. I'm still keeping the 94, and I'm sure once it's done i'll get rid of the 98, and buy something for a DD, but if it's good, it a deal, and i'll sell it for a little more.

if you want a fast daily driver why not looking into a turbo'ed eclipse or something of that nature

And it would only be for about a month or so, then its just an investment, and I can sell it for more. The cheapest one I have seen is $12500.

The 98 Cobra would be a great car for a DD. Stock power is very decent and with a little exhaust and suspension work, you could have a great sounding/handling DD for not much more coin. Even bone stock, it'll be a better DD than most.

I'm with you on the 94 you've got. I could never sell mine, no matter what went wrong with it.

Sounds great though! Throw us some details on it when you get a chance. Photos are mandatory, of course.

Very nice! Black is a great color for Cobras. I love the look of the hood and front bumper.

How many miles? Is it bone stock? I'm thinking bone stock, cause that shifter sure is tall.

ok it's got 85k miles, the gentleman who owned it is the second owner, the first owner is officer hendriks, who lives right down the street from the second owner, so I got to meet all owners. It is completly stock down to the snorkel on the filter housing. The rear end howls a little, but so did my old 95 and my 94, shifts nice, although it's weird shifting that huge shifter, and has a new king cobra clutch (which I dont like but it's new). no rips or tears, leather is still soft, all electronics work perfect, accept for the factory cd player. And the steering wheel is worn through in one spot. all in all i'm happy. It's going up for sale in a month... So if anyone wants a smokin deal it'll be up for sale after I get my 94 back.
