Just did the Mass air swap onto my 94 Ranger 5.0L, (88 donor car) off of a 93 car, and now the idle is really really lopey, and runs super rich..

Set the TPS, left the MAP open to Atmospehere, should I replace it with an actual BAP? Dunno what else...going to pull codes tomarrow...

Car(truck) is 1988, Typhoon intakes and TB, 1.7RR, 2400 stall, 1-5/8 headers, coil, wires, and K&N....

What did I miss?!?!
Sigh

Bah, no go, all the codes were emissions systems, which are inop..
But, I got a code 31 which is EVP Circut Below minimum voltage...What's that...And, a Code 40, which is a Right HEGO, which I'm going to go purchase a new one right now, see if that help anything.....I dunno...It burns my eyes when it's running..I don't mind the lope, sounds like a really mean machine, but the Rich-ness is just baaaad......

That raises a good point..the Injectors are 1988 19lb MAF injectors..I assumed 19lbs was 19lbs...Would them not being a MAF car injector matter? i think no, but I'm known to be wrong.

Basically, the Car is acting like was suggested, that it had too big of an injector in it, idles fine, has good power, but ir running obscenly rich..Fuel pressure at Idle - 48PSI, timing, 10* advacnes with no spout at idle, with, 20-ish, hard to tell when lope-ing..
TPS Voltage- 0.954 at throttle stop..
Still getting a code 40- inop right hego, but that would not richen both banks...that would appear to be another problem, of which intend to check quick with an OHM meter tomarrow...
Anyone have any other suggestions? I'm Out of ideas.
