Lose Alternator Pulley

I put underdrive pulleys on this past weekend and the alternator pulley won't stay tight. The spacing is the same on the new and old pulley and I used an impact gun to put the lock washer and nut on. it still works itself lose and the alt. fan is just free spining. Has anybody else had this prob.
