OK, your mods since 2002 seriously suck. Your not doing much...1 mod a year isnt enough lol. Get some Cams and slap in there...then when you get bored again, buy some heads....then buy a forged short block....then buy a darn 2.2L KB, racing slicks, and go destroy everyone at the auto cross.

considering i have gotten all the mods listed in the past 6 months..... i think i am doing ok.

and yeah, i will get to the power end, but AFTER i go full bore on suspension. brakes are done now, so after tonight.... this weekend rather... all i will have is trilink, front coilovers, k member, A arms, aluminum driveshaft bushings, and adjustable tie rod ends... and prolly replacing my rear swaybar with an adjustable. after which i will again plan my power. ironically enough i am debating about dropping in a chevy LS2 engine.... 500 to the floor with no blower on a car that is 600 less pounds then the car it was made for (gto). we ahve the same motor mount locations, and if i changed to a T56 it'd be the same tranny and i could use the stock trans mount.... but we will see in time,

I hope you realize how much work and headaches that will be? You're really better off getting a GTO or C6 instead. Besides, putting a GM motor in a Mustang kills its purpose IMO.

Even if you did get an LS1 or 2, you'll eventually grow bored and want more.

Owning a mustang and being happy is actually very simple. If you're not happy, then the car isnt for you, simple as that.

As far as your suspension, I dunno where you shop, or who you talk to, I dont really know anything bout ya heh, but, I know these cars can handle...if you put up the effort and time. It's no more expensive than any other car really...I got my older one to handle as good as my '97 VR6 GTI, which had full coil overs FK silverline to be exact, total suspension and brakes systems cost me around 3k, and my stang handled damn near as good, so, it can be done.

Sounds to me like you're just sick of the car. Take it off the road for a while, that is if it's not already, and let it sit. If you dont start to miss it after like a month, or if it doesnt make you happy driving it after so long, you've defonantly grown numb to the stang.

I have lowering springs and my GT handles like crazy. Then again, im coming from the 4x4 world.

Seriously, my advice is to drive something else aside from the Mustang for like a week if you can. Then come back to the Stang and see if you feel the same bitter feelings towards it, lol.

I can tell you I have been driving my beater since Sept trying to get the motor all finished up and back in.

I miss my car so much right now. I can't wait to get behind the wheel. Especially after it is broken in and tuned.

yeah I sometimes wonder if my car is what I want (98 GT) I wish I had got a cobra or a 99-04 Mach but it's a little late now. I just hate that I could've gotten supercharged for just a little more and was too stupid to do it. I would love to upgrade but unfortunately it just wouldnt make sense cause my car is paid for now. Still, I make the best of what I have by doing something major as often as I can. Also there is nothign like taking a GT and making it smoke a cobra It is definately not what people will expect so yeah it's worth it at times
