Losing the weight....

Well I think I finally decided to start dumping some things out of my car this winter. Trying to get a idea how much my car would weigh with the following done:

Tubular K member with tubular A arms and coil overs
Manual steering rack
AC delete
Smog delete
Rear seat delete
Swapping out the stock seats for corbeau forza's that weigh 20 lbs each I believe
Tossing the belts for 5 point harnesses up front
No spare or Jack
Factory sound deading crap gone
Dogbone gone
Quad Shocks gone
Alum driveshaft
Armrest delete
Washer tank gone
Alum radiator
Electric Fan

Adding a 10 point mild cage. And will still be power windows and locks. Currently has a 5 speed but chances are that will be swapped out for a C4.

This is in my 89 lx hatch. Does it sound like this could weigh around 3000 even? Thanks.

I was thinking that an LX was only 3200 stock. I could be wrong. I have striped mine bare as well race seat and cage going in this wenter I am thinking about taking the glass out the side windows. Pulling all the motors out of the doors too.

my gt weights 3154 with me in it and 3000 even without me in it, i have taken out the following
power steering
a/c
smog
stock k member
stock hood
all emissions
cruise control
sway bar
quad shocks
spare and jack
heavy ass sound deadner
you'll be able to do it trust me,i still have stock heads and added a turbo which was alot of weight

you should be able to do it easily. my car weighs in around 3100lbs and its a GT will all exterior parts, i have full interior, A/C PS, sound deadener, only real big weight mods are alum heads, swaybar delete, the weld rims are also lighter than stock rims.
also have a fiberglass hood on now

Aluminium heads are worth 50 or so lbs and you can get rid of the stereo. Hood is worth a bit epecially since it is over the front tires. One of those mini batteries weigh 1/4 what a regular size battery weighs. You can cut the crash support out of the doors and put a tubular one in. I have seen tubular bumpers... might want to look into those.
