Hi everyone, I was curious how to go about taking out all of the factory amps, and top hydraulics/motor in my 95 convertible.. I basically have the interior gutted except for the door panels right now. The problem is one of the hydraulic rams broke for the top, and I was reeeally looking for a reason to take it out anyways.. So now is the time! Is there anything I should leave plugged in? Oh, and it has the Mach 460 sound system. Any help is appreciated!

The best way to lighten a vert is to trade it in for a hard top. I usually don't interject myself too much to someone else's aspirations, but for your own sake, go back inside and think it over. Don't ruin a car to remove an insignificant amount of weight. I promise you, you will regret it. There is a whole thread in the talk section about removing the AC. There is not one person in there who has removed their AC on their street car that has not regretted it.
