Lined up at a light next to a torch red Thunderbird Super Coupe on the way home from work. His lane ends one block ahead and my lane doesn't. Light goes green he gets a perfect launch and I spin so he gets a 1/2 car on me. He gets a perfect first to second gear shift I get an ok one we stay even with him having 1/2 car on me. His lane is running out... Its quickly turning into a game of chicken rather than a speed contest so I back off and give it to him. I figured hey at least its another Ford and a fairly respectable one as well. I pulled next to him at the next light we gave each other the respect, the thumbs up. His woman looked very pleased, and now he can brag that he beat a Terminator...

I do need to learn to drive it better. That was the whole problem. Also, the tires loose traction in the cold and the engine gains power in the cold. It was about 20 degrees out. Lots of power but not enough traction and skill to put it to the ground.

Practice makes perfect, friend

BTW, you might as well forget first, and about half of second in the cold weather
IMHO its a nice "problem" to have.

I have had problems putting power to the ground lately in the GT. The cold really doesn't do tires any justice.

My Terminator will never, ever have a pulley. Too many cooling mods are required. Hell it needs cooling mods now in stock form...

LiveWire and x-pipe perhaps...

I'm just giving you a hard time. BTW i have also taken down terminators even one pulleyed. Never on the street though i'm kinda a on the track only racer although it is very hard to resist racing when a vette or maro try to pass me. I really pissed off a vette once when he was trying to pass me and my wife asked if i was a faster car then him so i didn't let him get around me. He tailgated me forever.
