LOUD POP while driving! No starty....Help!?

hmmmm .... intake backfires can cause lots of problems like blown gaskets and hoses.

what kinds of problems can a exhaust backfire cause?

i'd pull the O2 sensors and see what they look like. maybe the backfire caused a short in one of them or something

I don't know. At this point I am just going to have Rick look at it. I just want the car to run. I don't want to open the hood anymore, I do not want to tinker with it, I just want to drive it. I am burned out with this car.
