I have a 89 vert and I am doing changing shocks, quad shocks, springs. I have everything changed but can not get axle bracket to line back up with lca. That would explain why bolt was so hard to remove... ideas, tips?????

couple of things you can do

1) do not connect the shocks yet
2) place a jack underneath the LCA to jack it up in place
3) place a jack on the opposite side axle to raise that side which will lower the axle side you are working on
4) remove the spring from that side, install the bolt, then jack up the other side axle which should them provide you with enough clearance to reinstall the spring back with the bolt in as it will articulate the axle side you removed the spring from down

I've also found that placing the jack under different areas of the pumpkin will assist in lining it up. Towards the front of the pumpkin, the pinion area, tends to swing the mounting points forward.

You're probably trying to do it with the springs installed. Don't.

I'm not sure why you unbolted the lower arms to begin with. Like the others said, try try try

I only unbolted the one side. I read numerous articles saying to do that is the reason why.

Do you have a big line up pin you can use to rack it back into place? He'll even a ratchet strap to pull it back in from the housing to the body might work. It shouldn't be too difficult to get it back together though.
