Ok the previous owner of my car put 18" cobra-r wheels on it, and now it looks like a 4x4. I really wanted to wait and do a bunch of suspension stuff at once, but how would the stock shocks hold up with new lower springs? Also, what are some good brands and good prices where I can get them? Lastly, is there any sort of writeup for the spring install? I've done shocks/springs on my friends prelude, but the springs were compressed outside of the car and i'd just feel better about following directions rather than attempting it myself.

Thanks

- Brian

Nice, how much of a drop were they advertised as and how much do you think you actually got?

Steeda sport springs are a 1 1/2 inch drop. You need to change struts and shocks though because your stock shocks will probably bottom out often because they dont have as
much travel as aftermarket shocks, I just put tokicos on mine yesterday and it really helped the ride quality.

i'm running the steeda sports as well, but will change in the future to the steeda comps. with the sports (spring rate around 850lbs) there's alot of nose dive when hard in the corners or under heavy breaking, i for one am going with a stronger spring rate in the future.

they claim 1-1/2 inch drop but people get 1.75 inch drop...i think in my pic thats a bit more than 1.5 inches...and i didnt replace my shocks and struts and everything seems to be goin good...

If you get H&R Super Sport springs, you're going to have to get aftermarket shocks/struts, not to mention caster/camber plates for the 1.9-2.0" drop in front and 1.5 out back just to keep your front wheels in alignment.
