Lowering Springs

I know these in no way compare to Eibachs or some FMS springs....but just how crappy are they??

I just finished swapping in a sn95 8.8 and front spindles along with new shocks and upper and lower control arms and polyurethane bushings and with the bushings it sits way to high now haha. I had Eibachs on my 02 back in the day so I might go with them again. Any other suggestions? Looking for more of a subtle drop instead of slammed

I had eibach on my last two cars and liked them. I currently have sportline Eibachs on my fox and have clearance issues in the rear when I have a passenger...even with rolled fenders. It sits in the weeds, so I'm about to install a spacer back there to bring it up a little. My previous car had Eibach prokit which weren't as low and still handled fantastic. I've had people tell my h&r springs handle even better than Eibach, but haven't got to try them yet. I know some serious auto crossers who chuckle at eibach though, so you know...

My 90 lx came w eibach sportlines. Hated em, too low and too harsh. I put the ford racing progressive "b" springs on the 95 and liked em much better. It's a subtle drop and it handles well w out beating you to death like a chuckwagon.

Proline or sport kit? I've been kinda leaning towards a set of steedas but can persuaded for a good deal

Everyone is gonna have their preferences to springs. Its sort of like exhaust where everyone likes what they have?

I ran Ford Racing C springs for a long time. Loved the look, but hated the ride. Ended up swapping them out for Mach 1 springs, which raised the car up a bit, but the ride was much nicer, but handling still remained pretty good.

That's kinda how the b springs ride. Feel firm yet "civilized." I dig it.

Not sure I agree with you buddy. I had BBK springs w/ koni shocks back in the day (late 90's) and loved them. Maybe things have changed in the quality since? My Fox only lasted me a year before a drunk driver side swiped my car and totaled it so maybe I didn't have enough time on them to see the downside. I do however agree with you on the Eibachs, I have the prokit w/ KYB's.

IMO either get Steeda Sport or H&R Sport springs. Eibach Sportline drop the car too much and Pro Kit is similar to B springs.

It's hard to say what you should choose as far as brand because everyone has a different feel that they are looking for. All we can say is don't cheap out, get name brand. Popular choices seem to be Ford progressive rate B springs, Eibach prokit and Steeda. Check out latemodelresto's sight for a lot of customer pictures to get an idea of stance and look out for people that did/did not install spring isolator bushings.

Oh man they were bad on my car. They came on it when I bought it. It sat lower in the rear, they were mushy and with fairly new oe style parts store shocks it would bottom out in dips. These were not very old springs, so maybe quality has changed. Beside being a little too low right now the sportline/ koni str.t combo I have now is phenomenal.

To be honest I was told they were the sport lines. They were already on the car. I did put the eibach pro kit struts/shocks on it in '12. I have no problems with them rubbing other than if there is someone in the back seat and you go over a significant t dip. I'm running 275/40/17 Nittos. The overall ride is stiffer than stock(good and bad). Handling is way better than stock but a little harsh imo. They suck at the Dragstrip. Other than these/stock and the old 70/30's Ive no expierience with spring rates. I am going coilovers with strange adj struts/shocks. Otherwise I'd keep this combo. I liked it for the street and curves.
