NO! The ls1 has a solid 70 wheel horse on us. You will need more than just headers and gears.
Oh I know. I am just saying with both equal drivers you will need more mods that just long tubes on a PI 2v. Heck they give non intercooled vortech 2v's a run for there money.

How about this question. How big is the difference between a 1992 GT and a 2002 GT SOTP wise? I realize it has 40ish more HP, but it is heavier too I guess.
Realistically....a 2002 LS F-Body would murder a 1992 GT.....no contest. Its closer to a 90-100hp difference....not 40hp. And yes, it would feel like the F-Body was supercharged.
