This is my first post and i hope i'm at the right place, Been trying to get help with this, i found just got an 88 stang for super cheap but needs new engine and tranny. And i found a 89 Lincoln Mark VII for 300 dollars with tranny and engine in great condition plus considering maybe taking the rear end as well. But i heard the lincoln's driveshaft is longer an inch or more, would this be an problem in swapping in? I know the sensors i have to keep and the harness and all, but more worried about getting the tranny to fit correctly. Any help would be appreciated.
