LT Headers

I just bought BBK's LT headers and matching x pipe and already have a flowmaster cat back exhaust. How long and how hard is the installation of the headers and x pipe

Also I just installed a vortech supercharger s trim running 10 lbs of boost and am adding the headers and x pipe as well as 55 gallon/hr fuel pump and 30 lb/hr injectors and adjustable fuel pressure regulator what kindo of horsepower should I expect to see off od this configuration?

Are you going to get your car tuned ? if you added all the stuff your adding i would get a tune with a supercharger. its hard to install LongTube Headers, might as well have a shop do it

Do a search...i recall seeing a thread not too long ago about LT install. i heard the install is very time consuming....like working a whole weekend on it. i would take it to a shop to have it done if i ever get some LTs. just search though...i bet there is a ton of info already here on the site

Drop the K-Member and the install is no problem at all. And definatley get a tune after headers.

I think the longtube install is actually pretty simple. Yes it is time consuming, but for the most part pretty simple. Me and a friend worked probably 5 hours and had it done right the frist time.

if you have all the right tools & can get it in the air, it's not as hard as some people say. but i had it done on a lift & we dropped the k-member. with that out of there it was soooo much easier. becareful letting the k-member down though, because it's a lot heavier than you think

If you're getting the heads swapped anyways would headers be that hard? They will have my car on a lift as well doing suspension and gears.

Actually, it sounds overwhelming, but it's easier (in my opinion) to pull the engine to do a headswap/ header install. You can drop the engine in with the headers on, and the headswap part of it will be much faster not being leaned over a fender. Only an opinion though
