LT's being expensive is one thing but

to double the price for installation - around $800 and 10 hours - is insane...Can the LT's be put on in your driveway? I know my friend has the tools and jack stands and crap, is it possible??

it's doable, but I recommend getting a friend or two that has done the job before. I've heard it can be a real PITA if you've never done it before.
