i was talking to a friend and i mentioned im looking into some LT headers. He relpied with a big no, saying that on all three fox's hes had, they came too close to his clutch cable, burnt it up and had to replace it several times. Does this sort of thing happen, even more importantly on our cars? what are peoples experiences with LTs?

I've not had that prob.

I've had no probs with install, fitment, or anything else since I put them on about three years ago.

if the clutch cable gets close to one of the primaries, just put wrap the cable with some aluminum tape and you are good.

I had a friend with those issues but it was a FOX. Ceramic coated headers will keep the heat down a bit. Mine still look brand new too.
