i have a set of 94 eddie bauer seats with the lumbar support bladders in them, and as i am in the middle of an interior refurb, the thought came to me, incorporate the supports into my 65 seats. has anyone done such an upgrade before? the bladder just attaches to the springs with a couple hog rings,and the air pump isnt very big at all, i figure a couple tabs tack welded onto the seat frame. the only issue i forsee is switch location...
I swapped in a set of '88 GT seats that have the lumbar bladder. The switch could be added on a bracket in a similar manner. As far as the motor/pump, I don't remember there being too much room under the stock '65 seats though...
